To use or not use money?

The idea of living without money as a way of changing the world, is brave, if a little foolish, but doomed to failure (unfortunately).
***
If it were that simple I'd do it myself. As a freegan I live on as little as possible and have done so for much of my 60 years, as part of my quest to save the world, but not as my only tool. By not spending, or should I say wasting money on fripparies, I'm able to buy the planet (or a little bit of it anyway).
***
I've bought 13 bits of it, including land with houses on it and other assorted buildings and agricultural land with no buildings on it.
***
Now I want others to join me in building a world in which money is used wisely until we learn to live without it altogether.
***
When might that be you might ask? Honestly, in my estimation, maybe five hundred years, or longer at the rate we are going. I don't think it could happen globally in less than 100 years, with the best will in the world, and at present more that 90% probably think it's a stupid idea.
***
In which case call me stupid.
***
Now just because it doesn't happen globally right away doesn't mean it can't happen at all. We can create groups that use money sensibly, and in trade with the outside world, but not within the group. That would be a good start.
***
Email me if this makes sense to you and you either want to join me here, or you want to set up a group in your own locality: robertcircle1@yahoo.co.uk, then if you want to visit me in Swansea, Wales, UK I'll give you the phone number. We are limited on how many people we can accommodate at any one time so we'll add you to the waiting list and fit you in as soon as we are able.
***
Please don't email me to criticise me, the world doesn't have time for bickering. Ask any fair question and I'll do my best to answer it for you, but I'd rather discuss it with you in person as we work together on the project.
